I am a web developer. That doesn't mean I specialize in Javascript. It doesn't mean I make website logos. It simply means that I build websites and I use various tools to do so. It's best not to categorize my skill set outside of... web developer.

With that being said, my past experience makes me very dangerous with certain tasks. I have a long history with WordPress and the Thesis Framework for WordPress. I am able to build websites from scratch with both Thesis 1 and the new Thesis 2.

However, I've built my own theme framework for WordPress. It's called the Volatyl Framework and it's quite awesome. It is my framework of choice for future projects, though I am still willing to develop with Thesis.

I am very fluent in HTML(5) and CSS(3). Any project requiring HTML, CSS, or both, I can most likely take care of. This includes HTML pages in Facebook apps, single page websites without a content management system (like WordPress), landing pages, and many other scenarios.

I also have experience with a file-based content management system called Kirby. It requires an understanding of PHP as well other web languages. It also requires an understanding of webpages in general as the system comes with no predefined templates. I start from scratch.

I have plenty of experience with other website platforms such as community forums. I have built and maintained many vBulletin forums as well as IP.Board and Simple:Press for WordPress.

Bottom line, I'm not afraid to learn. Whatever it takes to build websites and anything related, I can either handle or learn to handle.
