I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Thesis Theme Framework is the greatest WordPress theme in the land.
Here’s the deal. WordPress themes are a dime a dozen. However, 99% of them are obsessed with design. I won’t say that design isn’t important. It most definitively is. However, if the most beautiful site in the world takes 20 seconds to load, no one is going to care how gorgeous it is.
Thesis concentrates on Speed and SEO first… leaving you with a super fast, search engine optimized site first. Once you have that solid foundation, then and only then should you worry about having a badass design.

Kolakube Skins for Thesis Theme Framework
Simply put, Alex Mangini of Kolakube does an amazing job of designing skins to lay over Thesis.
As stated above, Thesis is pretty bare out of the box. If you don’t know a little CSS or PHP, you won’t get very far in the area of design. Don’t worry, though. Alex is a wiz kid and has dedicated himself to transforming Thesis blogs into beautiful websites… without sacrificing Thesis’ high points.
Head on over to Kolakube and look for yourself. You’ll be amazed. Even better, the support is outstanding. I may be biased, though, considering I run the support forums for Alex. 
Aweber Email Marketing Services
When you have a gorgeous website, people are going to want to see it quite often. They’ll enjoy being on your site… assuming that you have top notch content as well. If that’s the case, you’ll need a way to keep them coming back. Feeding content to their email inboxes is the best way to get this done.
There are a couple of popular email marketing services out there. However, Aweber is an industry leader and I have used it with absolutely no delivery issues for well over a year.
If you intend to build a loyal readership with your blog, you better have something that keeps them coming back. Great content will get it done. But if they don’t come see it, they will never know it exists. So, shoot them an email here and there.

How To Start A Blog That Matters
Listen up. I don’t follow very many bloggers. It took me a while to learn… but I now know that 99% of what you read in the blogosphere is pure crap. There’s no other way to put it.
However, I came across Corbett Barr’s work in my very early days and he is one of only two bloggers that still have unlimited access to my email inbox.
Why? Because he knows what he’s talking about. Being a great guy is just a bonus. Corbett lives a location independent lifestyle thanks to his blogging business. Likewise, he has helped many others build blogs that change their lives. Lucky for us, he put together a training program to get bloggers started off with a bang.
